Hi! I’m Ingrid, and I write about my experience of grief in the loss of our adult son, Hunter, to an opioid overdose and, in contemplating that grief, the many things that I have learned.

Audience: I’m looking to connect with parents who’ve lost adult children to opioid overdose or other difficult circumstances. It may also be helpful for parents who have children in the throes of addiction. I humbly share it with those who haven’t experienced this type of tragedy as a means to provide insight into addiction and complicated grief.
